Shy personality disorder and social anxiety syndrome can have far reaching negative effects on those who suffer from these types of conditions. Individuals who feel like they may have one of these conditions, usually have difficulty in social situations. This can be debilitating because it may be difficult to find or keep a job that requires social skills. Also, meaningful connections cannot be established, such as reliable friendships or romantic partnerships.

Research is being done to identify treatments for these related conditions. This will take place in the form of a clinical trial to test the effectiveness and safety of a new class of drug. If you suffer from one of these conditions, and would be willing to participate in a clinical trial, please contact us. Participants will be given either a treatment or a placebo as well as monetary compensation for their involvement.
